As mixed methods research increases in popularity, growing numbers of PhD graduates are finishing their degrees with mixed methods training—many even choosing to design a mixed methods dissertation. Panelists for this event, all in various stages of the dissertation process, will illuminate the process of mixed methods dissertations, with special attention on challenges and lessons learned, committee dynamics, and eventual publication possibilities. The event will be of interest to graduate students as well as to faculty members involved in methodology curriculum planning.
