Cheryl Poth & Sergi Fàbregues
Cheryl Poth is a Professor and award-winning instructor and author at the University of Alberta. She is a past-President of the Mixed Methods International Association and current associate editor of the Journal of Mixed Methods Research. She is the author of Innovation in Mixed Methods Research (2018, Sage), co-author with John Creswell of Qualitative Inquiry and Research Design (4th & 5th eds.) (2018, 2024; Sage), and editor of the Sage Handbook of Mixed Methods Design (2023; Sage).
Sergi Fàbregues is Associate Professor of Research Methods at the Department of Psychology and Education of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Barcelona, Spain), Core Faculty of the University of Michigan Mixed Methods Program, and Co-Editor in Chief of the Journal of Mixed Methods Research. His interests include critical appraisal, mixed methods integration, and the process of conducting systematic methodological reviews. He has led several methodological workshops internationally.
