Discover MMIRA 2026: Global Conference Overview & Submission Opportunities

Join us for an engaging informational webinar introducing the MMIRA 2026 Conference, to be held in Brisbane, Australia, August 24th-27th, 2026. This session will provide an overview of the conference vision, key themes, and exciting opportunities for participation.

During the webinar, we will introduce the four distinguished keynote speakers, highlight planned workshops, and discuss Special Issue publication opportunities associated with the conference. Attendees will also be guided through the conference themes and the four types of submissions, including:

  • Poster presentations

  • Abstract-only submissions (maximum 500 words)

  • Research-in-Progress papers

  • Condensed papers

SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE MARCH 31ST

This webinar is designed to encourage and support prospective contributors by clarifying submission options and expectations, while showcasing the academic and professional value of participating in MMIRA 2026. Whether you are an emerging scholar or an experienced researcher, we invite you to join us and explore how your work can be part of this international conference.

Presenters: 

Dr. Heinz Herrmann is an Associate Professor at Torrens University Australia, a member of its Centre for Organisational Change & Agility (COCA), and Adjunct Professor at the Australian Graduate School of Leadership (AGSL). Heinz serves on scientific and editorial boards and focuses on business and management, responsible artificial intelligence, tendered bidding, and mixed methods research. In industry, he is a CEO with 35 years of standing in Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT), including commercial and not-for-profit board director roles. Heinz is the Chair of the MMIRA2026 Global Conference Scientific Committee.

Professor Ros Cameron is the Director of the Centre for Organizational Change & Agility (COC) at Torrens University Australia. Her research interests include HRM, workforce development, skilled migration and migrant entrepreneurship and Mixed Methods Research. She is on the JMMR Editorial Board, a Past Board Member of MMIRA and Foundational Convenor of the ANZAM MMR SIG from 2011-2024. Ros is the MMIRA2026 Global Conference Chair.
