MEMBER RESOURCES

Resources for members include: A newsletter distributed regularly to members, regional and global conferences, free access to extensive library of almost 50 archived webinars by experts in the field, and to a growing body of on-line modules.

Please note: MMIRA does not have an officially sponsored journal. It plays no role in the editorial policies of either of the two journals listed below. Several other journals have sections to tracks devoted to mixed methods.

Journal of Mixed Methods Research (JMMR)
  • Journal of Mixed Methods Research (JMMR) offers an e-journal subscription to MMIRA members who request it on the membership enrollment form. JMMR is an innovative, quarterly, interdisciplinary, highly selective publication that focuses on empirical, methodological, and theoretical articles about mixed methods research across the social, behavioral, health, and human sciences.
International Journal of Multiple Research Approaches (IJMRA)
  • International Journal of Multiple Research Approaches. IJMRA is a multiple methods journal that is open to diverse approaches and friendly to early career researchers. It publishes empirical and non-empirical (e.g., conceptual, theoretical, methodological) articles representing both multi-method research and mixed methods research. Articles are indexed through EBSCO. The vision that the editors have for this journal’s niche allows for both quantitative-only and qualitative-only multiple methods research articles, as well as qualitative-dominant, quantitative-dominant, and equal-status mixed methods research articles. Descriptions of multiple methods and mixed methods research will be welcome from any discipline or field representing the social, behavioral, health, and human sciences, as long as innovation is demonstrated and there will be methodological lessons learned or ideas for other researchers to employ in their own works. The link to the journal webpage is: https://ijmra.org
  • Watch a YouTube video of the editors of IJMRA talking about the Journal
